One out of two radio listeners in Mega Manila tune in to an MBC (Manila Broadcasting Company) station at any given time of the day or week .
The latest Nielsen Media Survey conducted on the first quarter of 2007 has proven once again that MBC stations dominate the FM and AM airwaves in Mega Manila with a total AM and FM listening share of 46.3 percent encompassing MBC flagship stations DzRH, Love Radio 90.7, and YES FM 101.1. |

The Nielsen Radio Audience Measurement showed that Love Radio 90.7 remains the undisputed FM station for five consecutive years with a hefty audience share of 27.90 percent, more than double that of DwRR at 13.30 percent in the no. 2 position. The survey shows that Love Radio cuts across age groups, with 26 percent profile share of listeners in the 20-29 age group, 22 percent in the 30-39 age group, and 30 percent in the 40 and above age group. Another MBC station, YES FM 101.1 lands the number 3 spot with 11.70 percent audience share. |
