Ratecards serve the purpose of setting the value of commercial spots for individual stations. factors involved in the determination of these rates include the location and population of the city, the power of the station broadcast and the size of the reach of the station. the single most important factor however are the ratings and rankings of the individual stations as seen in the most recent KBP and neilsen surveys. the cost effectivity of these rates is determined by the cost per thousand listenership of each station with a lower number being more advantageous to the advertiser.
